Happy Thanksgiving--Let's Remember Those Not at Home & Their Families

As we all hit the roads to travel to be with relatives, friends and loved ones during the Thanksgiving holiday today and tomorrow, please remember those who are serving our country and can't be at home with their families.   Let's also remember the family members who are here at home with us and don't have their Mom, Dad, Brother, Daughter, Son, Sister or loved one at their table.  We can and should go out of our way to say how much we appreciate their sacrifice.  Everyone travel safe, be thankful for all we have and reach out to those who don't have the entire family around the table and let them know we care.

Perfect sentiment Maxine. We have much to be thankful for as a nation, and I love having this special day to take time to recognize all that is good in life. Have a wonderful Turkey Day, Military District Washington, and especially all our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines serving far from home. And lets include our State Department personnel who are probably hosting Thanksgiving dinners for their host country friends.
