I know I have my doubts about the show, but I have to admit that last season's story arc following the death of the Jeremy character was moving for me. Again, I only tuned in at the urging of my cadet, and hadn't really watched the show in years. But the writers and show producers did an admirable job, in my mind, of capturing the grief, sorrow and pride parents might experience. And I think it brought to the table a reality many Americans might not realize. That in a time when less than one percent of our population is serving in the military, a good portion of that one percent is coming from military families. Besides their spouses, military wives are watching their sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and other family members go off to defend their country. So in this aspect, maybe the show has done a service to the military. But about those other story lines...what do you think?
