In Gear Career for Military Spouses is a fairly new nonprofit that has some great resources for Military Spouses who are looking for employment. Their website has forums where you can network with other Military Spouses - either working in your occupational field...or living in a particular location (ie D.C.) Spouses share leads on jobs, useful resources and can meet to encourage each other in pursuit of their careers. There is an active group of career minded Spouses in D.C. who meet about once a month!
